Matt and Haley’s big day was everything a wedding should be. It was a celebration of their love for The Lord and each other, complete with lots of heart and thoughtful details.
I first met Haley when she was entering high school. I led her small group at church. She, I and a group of about 7 girls spent the next three years together. It was such a special time in my life and each of these girls holds a piece of my heart. When Haley asked if I would photograph her wedding I was honored and thrilled simply because she’s awesome and I love her! However, when I met Matt at their engagement session and saw the two of them together I realized that I was getting to bear witness to something incredibly precious. Their love is deep and kind and held together by their love for God.
On Saturday I attempted (rather poorly) to keep the tears at bay, but when you see the first look below you will know why it was so difficult!
The ceremony took place at our home church, but before the ceremony began we all piled in vans and one amazing Airstream to take portraits at a friends home.
The reception took place at a new venue in the River Valley, Meadow on the Mountain, which is located in Atkins, Arkansas.
Every bloom and detail and vendor was perfection, from the food and cake to the DJ, everything came together and I am so grateful to have been included.
